Description
Azolla, also known as Fairy moss , Duckweed fern and Mosquito fern, is an Australian native plant. Azolla is the ultimate floating plant, and the fastest growing of all other floaters. This species can handle higher temperatures than duckweed.
Azolla prefers a still surface to grow on, and great for preventing mosquitos from breeding. Great for any goldfish. Azolla is the ultimate food for goldfish and other livestock. This floater (Azola) gets about three as big as normal Duckweed and will develop red and purple colours in the leaves under higher lighting.
