Its max height is around 5-10cm when fully grown. Fish love to forage among the thin blades of grass, and baby fry can seek shelter there. Additionally, dwarf hairgrass is relatively easy to grow, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced hobbyists. Other choices for beginner carpeting plants are Monte Carlo and Pearlweed.
