How to Use Seiryu Stone in Your Aquascape
Planning Your Layout
Before placing Seiryu Stone in your aquarium, it’s essential to plan your layout. Consider the overall design and flow of your aquascape. Decide whether the stone will be the main focal point or part of a larger composition.
Preparing the Stone
- Cleaning: Rinse the Seiryu Stone thoroughly to remove any dust or debris. Avoid using soap or chemicals, as they can harm your aquarium's inhabitants.
- Positioning: Experiment with different positions outside the tank to find the best arrangement. Look for natural angles and groupings that enhance the stone's appearance.
Placing the Stone
- Base Layer: Start by placing a layer of substrate in your aquarium. This will help anchor the stones and provide a foundation for plants.
- Anchor the Stones: Position the Seiryu Rocks securely in the substrate. Use smaller stones to stabilize larger ones if necessary.
- Add Plants: Once the stones are in place, add aquatic plants around them to create a natural look. Choose plants that complement the stones' color and texture.
