Description
Flame Moss (Taxiphyllum 'Flame') is known for its spectacular, vertical growth. Aquascapers love this moss because of its hairgrass-like growth, and its ease of care. Flame moss is regularly used as a decorative plant in aquariums. As with most aquatic mosses, it loves low-medium light. High light will fry it.
Once your Flame Moss starts growing, you can cut off the moss into smaller pieces with a scissor and allow the pieces to free float, or attach to driftwood. These baby pieces will start growing very soon.

Do's:
Attach Flame Moss to hardscape elements using fishing line or cotton thread until it securely anchors itself.
Provide moderate lighting to avoid excessive algae growth on the moss.
Trim regularly to maintain its desired shape and prevent overcrowding.
Don'ts:
Avoid using chemicals or medications containing copper, as it can be harmful to Flame Moss.
Do not allow Flame Moss to become completely dry, as it requires a moist environment for optimal growth.

We ship from Mondays to Wednesdays (all orders from Monday to noon of Wednesday will be ship out in the same week and any orders made after noon of Wednesday will be processed next Monday).
For any livestock you have in your order, we will ship them via Australia Post express service. This will usually take 24 - 48 hours to reach you after leaving our workshop.
