Description

Taiwan Moss (Taxiphyllum Alternans) is a species of moss that grows in a creeping, horizontal fashion. It is an awesome carpeting moss for aquascapes, due to its neat growth, unlike Java Moss. Unlike many other mosses, this plant is capable of living in tropical waters, as well as colder environments. Taiwan moss’ bushy growth makes it a perfect hiding spot for baby fish fry and shrimplets.

Taiwan Moss can be attached directly onto driftwood, rocks or other aquarium decoration using line or glue. Here is its closely related, easier cousin, the Java Moss.
