Windelov Java Fern, scientifically known as Microsorum pteropus 'Windelov,' is a popular and visually appealing aquatic plant that adds a touch of elegance to any aquascape. It features uniquely shaped, finely divided leaves that create a delicate and intricate appearance. The leaves of Windelov Java Fern exhibit a beautiful, lacy pattern, which sets it apart from the standard Java Fern.

To cultivate Windelov Java Fern successfully, provide it with low to moderate lighting conditions. This plant is an epiphyte, meaning it can be attached to hardscape such as rocks or driftwood. Avoid burying the rhizome when attaching or planting the fern, as this can lead to rotting. It is a relatively undemanding plant and can adapt to a variety of water parameters. However, providing nutrient-rich water and occasional fertilization can promote healthier growth. Pruning is generally not required, but removing any yellow or decaying leaves can help maintain its overall appearance.
