Echinodorus Red Flame Sword
You will receive one juvenile Red Flame Sword, similar to photo 3.
The Red Flame Sword can make for a stunning centrepiece plant in the aquarium. Its tall, large, deep red leaves are remarkably noticeable in heavily planted settings. To top it off, it is extremely undemanding and tolerates a wide range of tank parameters.
Care for the Red Flame Sword is extremely easy. While it will thrive in high lighting, it is also very durable and can grow well in low to moderate lighting. It is a heavy root feeder, so requires a nutrient-rich substrate. Red Flame Sword produces very large leaves, so it must be planted with care to not cast too much shade on other plants as it grows. It is best used as a mid-ground or background plant. The Red Flame Sword reproduces through rhizome division and the production of side shoots, which can be snipped off and replanted.
Like most plants, Red Flame Sword will benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel and other plant supplements. It is intolerant of copper, so please keep this in mind.

Echinodorus Red Flame Sword requires moderate to high lighting to maintain its vibrant red coloration.
It can be used as a midground or background plant, creating a focal point and adding a splash of color to the aquascape.
The plant's size can vary, with smaller varieties suitable for smaller aquariums and larger varieties for more spacious setups.
Provide moderate to high lighting to promote intense red coloration and compact growth.
Supplement with nutrient-rich substrates or root tabs to support the plant's nutritional needs.
Regularly trim older or damaged leaves to maintain the plant's appearance.
Avoid inadequate lighting, as it can cause the plant to lose its vibrant coloration and become pale.
Do not bury the crown of the plant too deeply, as it can lead to rotting and plant decline.
Avoid sudden changes in water parameters, as it can cause stress and impact the plant's health.
