Description

Clear Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are a translucent variation of the popular Red Cherry Shrimp. Their unique clear appearance adds a touch of intrigue and elegance to an aquascape. Clear Cherry Shrimp require similar care to Red Cherry Shrimp, including stable water parameters, a planted environment, and a varied diet. They are generally peaceful and can coexist with other non-aggressive tank mates. However, it's important to note that their lack of coloration makes them more susceptible to predation, so it's crucial to provide ample hiding places and a stress-free environment.

These Freshwater Dwarf Shrimp are a great addition to your clean-up crew.

They are one of the hardiest dwarf shrimp, and can live in both cold-water and tropical setups, but thrive and breed readily between 20-26°C.

Clear Cherry Shrimp are scavengers, and will eat algae and microorganisms around the tank. They are great community companions and won't harm other shrimp, fish or live plants. They have an incredibly low bio-load and are a great addition to almost any fish tank ecosystem! They love planted tanks, mosses and other hiding areas. 

These shrimp will not do well with larger aggressive fish. However, they live happily with smaller fish, which may still prey on shrimp fry, but if you have enough plant cover, enough usually survive to keep the colony going.

• Diet: Provide a balanced diet of algae, biofilm, and commercial shrimp food. Supplement with blanched vegetables if needed.
• Tank Compatibility: They are generally peaceful and can coexist with small, non-aggressive fish and other peaceful invertebrates.
