Chocolate Cherry Shrimp
Chocolate Cherry Shrimp
Portion Size
You will receive one juvenile low to medium grade Yellow Cherry Shrimp that is 0.8-1.5cm in length.
Description
The Neocaridina shrimp family includes the Chocolate Cherry Shrimp. Their shells are a dark black, slightly darker than those of the brown Chocolate shrimp. They are created by deliberately breeding deeper and darker variations of the Chocolate morph until practically pure black shells are achieved. An adult will typically reach a height of 3 cm (1.2 inches).
The Chocolate Cherry Shrimp is one of the simplest to care for, and they may survive for 1-2 years in a well-kept aquarium. They can tolerate a wide range of water types and characteristics because they are a resilient species. To limit the possibility of molting, keep the KH between 1 and 8, and the GH between 4 and 5. A lesser grade will most likely resemble the Chocolate shrimp, with a color that is closer to a dark brown than a deep black.
